Highland Historian Original Buff (Tubular Headwear)
As you will be aware, I am very keen to ensure that all stock is useful and responsibly sourced. Just like the fèileadh mòr (great kilt) worn by Highlanders historically due to the multifunctional nature of the garment, I have been wearing Original Buff Tubular Headwear for many years in the Scottish countryside due to its seemingly endless uses!
Buff are based close to Barcelona and have developed this design with me and have produced it on their original seemless, tubular, breathable, wind resistant and wickable headscarf. The many uses of this item include as a hat; a balaclava for cold weather; a scarf; a bandana; a hair bobble; headband; wrist sweatband; a neck sun-protector; a face covering; and many, many more! Each Highland Historian Original Buff is also made with two recycled plastic bottles.
COVID-19: This is not a medical grade mask and is not recommended to replace filtration face masks. Face coverings are now a legal requirement in shops in Scotland unless there is a specific reason for not wearing one. Whilst you can use these Buffs for that purpose, please be aware of current guidelines and the fact that face coverings like this will not prevent you getting or passing on COVID-19. Buff are very clear that their headwear is not intended as a way of preventing disease, illness or the spread of viruses. This is multi-use headwear for outdoor comfort.
Buff are a company which I have been aware of since selling their products as an outdoor shop salesman and their "Sustainability Programme", "Corporate Social Responsibility" and "Environmental Policy" make them a leader in these considerations in outdoor retail.
